Massar Egbari: A Jamming Session With Fans

While the great majority of new rock and indie bands in Egypt look up to Western music for inspiration, Massar Ejbary is looking closer to home. For that they have manged to bring about some fine and fresh sounding music that the youngsters have come to embrace.

Looking for inspiration for folklore songs that sounds like Daraweesh, some form of spiritual dance that can be found in many pockets of Egypt and other places. This is an intriguing live performance from a new comer band that has many talented musicians who also happen to have decent vocals.

Using humor and satire to bring people together is nothing new, but it sure worth the run Massar Egbari has given it in each of their songs.
